Hi

I just have a quick request - any help would be appreciated.

How much do the following foods cost in your area? (Mostly US based, but people from all around the world can answer)

I live in Canada and I can't really find anywhere that lists the normal prices of the following products in the US

- 1 lb ground beef (Doesn't matter fat/lean ratio)
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
- 12 eggs
- 1 can tuna

Thanks in advance...

    - 12 eggs Large $1.79
    - 1 can tuna Solid albacore $1.25
Those prices are for my area in the upper eastern shore of MA. They are the average prices when not on sale.

It's a little cheaper here in Upstate NY then in Tina's area.
      - 1 lb ground beef (Doesn't matter fat/lean ratio) 80/20 $2.49
      - 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast around $3.99
      - 12 eggs 1 doz. lg. 1.39
      - 1 can tuna $1.00? Not sure there really, I usually get a 4 pack of 7.5 oz. cans for around $2.50

I live in the Colorado mountains in a tourist town, which is a little more expensive than if I lived on the Front Range, about 25 miles away...

    - 1 lb ground beef (Doesn't matter fat/lean ratio) - On sale, $2.50 a pound, usually about $3.

    - 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast - Not sure.

    - 12 eggs - This is weird here. They can be $2.50 for a dozen, but often there will be a sale for 18 eggs for $1.89.

    - 1 can tuna - About a dollar, but often on sale for 79 cents.

And one thing that irritates me... 8 oz of parmasian cheese is $2.69, while a 16 oz jar is $6.99. I can't figure out why it's cheaper to buy two smaller jars than one large one. Sorry, just wanted to vent.
