Also, no matter how much I post, my post count stays at 30! Please help!

Your post count doesn't go up when you post in the Off-Topic Forum.

    What is BST?

      1. There is a BST section, its just called something else
      2. That rule is so ****ing stupid its not even funny. You think a 30 post min. is a good thing? lol It just makes people post random pointless crap so that they can meet the requirements. Makes the forum worse..

Plus ive been waiting for 2 days now under moderation..

Ok - what is it called?

        people post random pointless crap
The great majority of new members join in main forum discussions, ask good questions and don't worry about their post counts. Then there are others...

Plus ive been waiting for 2 days now under moderation..
That makes me wonder if you are trying post a WSO to sell to members here.

BST sounds like a forum from DP, not WF.
And this is actually the Alien Abduction Support Forum...it's just called the Off Topic Forum for some reason :p

    BST = Buy, Sell, Trade.

And I agree with Mike. If you are a business man then you don't really have time to make 30 meaningful posts..

Can you make all 30 posts in one day, or is that seen as wrong?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[395258].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author valerieSONORA
Still, there is no BST forum here. That is Digital Point. Why do you want to make 30 posts in one day? In a hurry to release a WSO on your first day? If you don't have time to make 30 meaningful posts, what are you doing here? Did you 2 just come here from DP together?

Yes, they want to run a WSO, take a look at how many people joined in January running a WSO on their first or second day.

Mike you wait a few days, interesting as you only joined on the 4th January so how have you had to wait a few days when you have only been here a couple of days.

Another new member heard from who boosted his post count in the test forum. Yes, that is seen as wrong - anyone really in business would understand that.

Sure - you can make all 30 posts in one day - and it seems right now you can make all of them in the "test" forum by posting one or two words each time. BUT - you'll find it very hard to sell anything here with the reputation you are establishing right now. People buy from those they trust - and you can't be trusted to follow rules or respect this forum.

But - hey - give it a shot.

Hello all, it's no secret that I just joined (1 post). I mean who am I to question the rules here. I'll just be honest from a new member prospectus.

I was referred here by a friend that said this forum was the "cat's meow" for internet marketing. Well, I'm definitely not here to sell, promote or scam anyone. I joined because I anticipated some heavy hitter's here to learn from.

The first post I read and I mean all day was by Kneb Knebaih on "3,000 in 45 days + $2,000 in 30 days + $600 in 3 days... Real Warrior case study".

I was thinking boy I've hit the goldmine, finally found a forum with helpful, sound ideas, this sounded very feasible, not another one of those GRQ ideas I see so very, very often.

Next I go to the WSO. I'll scanned the different post and found one to read, someone was offering a backlink service, very affordable. I clicked his link and subscribed to his service. I came back to his post on the forum and tried to post a reply. I then got the message that I needed to make 30 post before I could post a reply. Dangit I thought, now what? After I had subscribed to the posters service I had noticed he didn't even have a contact link in his service.

Hmm, I couldn't pm him in WF, I couldn't reply to his thread post, he didn't have an email contact on his site. So I had to locate his email in my Paypal receipt.

I'll have to say I was somewhat dismayed that I could spend my money here but I couldn't communicate with sellers of services here until I made 30 post.

and that's all I have to say about that.

The other thing that I'm sure doesn't belong in this topic...is after I started looking at the WSO, I felt I maybe was in the wrong place. Post after post on "How to make a Million Dollars a Minute", well almost that ridiculous. Forgive me, no disrespect for the forum, but as a new member I felt like I had just sat down at a table with some professional card sharks that had every intention of emptying my wallet.

That's too bad. Unfortunately the few bad apples spoil the lot and good folks get caught in the crossfire. Kay gave you some sound advice about opening a ticket in the "help desk section" of the forum.

By the way, welcome to the forum!

That's a valid complaint - and it's a new problem here. Becuase so many were spamming the WSO section with ridiculous posts it seems now it is required to have a certain number of posts to use the PM function or to answer there.

What you can do is submit a ticket to the help desk if you didn't receive the WSO you paid for, etc. Give them the link and forum name of the seller and hopefully they can resolve it for you.

It's unfortunate it has to be this way - but the influx of new members with an agenda of their own rather than a wish to participate is likely the reason.

Thanks for the welcome Alan, I haven't been a member long enough to really get my bearings here. Something tells me that there is a wealth of good information here...it just takes time separating the "wheat from the chaft". Eventually I'll learn who's on the up and up. Maybe I have the wrong impression of the WSO but first impressions are that folks are having a big "Buy This, It will Make You Rich" orgy in there. The WSO forum to me is sort of "Enter At Your Own Risk" and kinda makes me uneasy.

No disrespect, just first impression as a new member.

I can understand if you're a new member, having trouble replying to a thread on the WSO forum (not starting one). That would freak me out too.

I know Allen (the forum admin) is working out the kinks on the Warrior Special Offer forum, but honestly have no idea what's in store for it. Hopefully you'll be able to reply to thread in there - they just might not count toward your post count (like when you post here in the off topic forum).

You are wise to be uneasy. There are some high quality products offered there but they are sometimes hard to find in all the "chatter". As you gain knowledge here you'll identify those you trust to buy from.

as it is in every aspect of life there is no place where you can find everyone in a gathering that all hundred percent honest. So you must take your time as a new member to study the forum and no who to trust. life is all about patient and perseverance and we will get what we want.

I'm also finding it frustrating in regards to the post count needed in the WSO section. I am not a brand new member but have been lurking and learning a lot for awhile now. Thank you Warriors!

This has only been an issue since the site was revamped. I really think that stopping new people from commenting or asking questions when they are spending their hard earned money on a WSO is very unfair and prevents them from giving honest feedback.

    Just my two cents...

      Yep...

I joined WF 5 months ago and I'm not a "postman" type. I come here to see what's new or to check WSO forum and my post count is almost none. To be able to send PMs a post count must be 15 or greater and to post on WSO forum a post count must be 30 or greater.
      • What can I do if I want to ask for more info before buying from WSO?
      • How can I contact a seller if I have problems downloading a product?

Try posting in the Test forum section if you just want to boost your post count... :p

Or how about this... post something of value in the other sections...??? A question that others may need the answer to... or an answer to a question? 15-30 posts is not that hard to achieve... unless you post crap/spam and the posts are deleted...

The rules are in place for a reason... spam-bots are just one of many very good reasons...
