Anyone watching the PGA championship?

As I have posted before, I'm a golfer. I love it to play and watch.

Today the PGA championship begins. Everyone loves a comeback so of course I will be watching Tiger. I'd also love to see Rickie Fowler or Phil at the top.

On the European side, I'd love to see Darren Clarke backup his Open Championship victory. We are Ian Poulter fans as well. There's nothing like a sharp dressed man who can back it up with great playing.

Another guy that is fun to watch it Ryo Ishikawa from Japan.

Who would you like to see win?

    Yes, I will definitely be watching.

    It was very interesting to read about Tiger's comments about his ex-caddie who caddied for the winner, Adam Scott. My prediction is Tiger will finish at the bottom half of the field.

    I like Ian Poulter too.

    Stricker is playing good. I always like to see one of the older guys win or making a top 10. : )

    It would be good to see Rory McIlroy place in the top 10. He is a helluva good golfer.

    So, my prediction for the winner:

    1. Steve Stricker
    2. Brian Gay

      Nice! So far you are on point. I love when the 40 + boys play well. Stricker made it look very easy today. I would love to see Davis Love (DLIII) stay up there.

    I soooooo agree -- wouldn't it be great to see Davis Love place in the top 5?

    I play as much as I can. I love the game.

    I met my husband on the golf course many years ago. I went out to play with my nephew and we were paired with my future husband. Ha. I was terrible. Couldn't break 100 if I tried. The hubby is a really good golfer and I asked him for a few lessons. I broke 100 shortly after my lessons.

    As you know, it's a great game. One to be enjoyed from a very young age up to... well old.

    I have also had many business meetings on the course and was able to determine the integrity of my playing partners. The club throwers, rule violators, cheaters. If a person lies about their score, improves the lie with a swift kick, or hurles a 7 iron 50 yards, in my opinion, it diminishes their credibility.

    Have a great time playing, Susanna. Hit 'em long and straight! And most important: have fun!!

      Okay, we couldn't have predicted the outcome of Keagan Bradley winning but it was certainly exciting. Those last four holes are crazy. We have the same type of setup where I play. The last four holes are deadly.

      I love it! You met your husband on the course. Thanks for sharing. Can you break 100 now?

      The golf course is a wonderful place to do business. The game is humbling and does bring out our character flaws.

    Hi OhSusanna. So true, it would have been very difficult to predict that outcome. In fact, I bet the betting odds were high and had we known, we could have made a fortune. : )

    What a great tournament. A playoff! And between two relatively unknowns. It was great. The last our holes looked really scary. Ha. The courses we play here in Texas are difficult, but not like that.

    I can break 100. I shoot in the 90s. Broke 90 a few times. How about you? What do you usually shoot?

    I hope you enjoyed your time on the course last week.

    It's been too hot to play here lately. Looking forward to the Fall and Winter here. We can usually play year round, but this year, we're breaking records for heat, 105+ for so many days in a row, I lost count.
