How Do I Make Quicktime My Default Player

OFF TOPIC

Right now Windows Media Player is my default but some of the videos have no sound and some I hear fine. When I open any video file with Quicktime I hear fine. I also tried VLC player with the same no sound problem.

Try Total Video Player ! hope it works fine with the video !

  I downloaded and tried "Total Video Player" but still no sound. So back to my original thought, how do I make "Quicktime" my default player.

  Assuming you are on Win7, RIGHT Click on any file in the file type that you want to set Quicktime to be the default for. Go to OPEN WITH and you will see at the bottom of the list that pops up CHOOSE DEFAULT PROGRAM. Do this for each type of file you want to use with Quicktime. I don't know if there is a way within QT to do the same, I don't use it.

In the option of that player or simply right click on the file which you want to open then go for open with and then make it default player.
