Okay so now that you know I'm from Detroit and I'm crazy... who do you really think will win?

Actually, in another time line, the Lions not only win the Super Bowl but get
voted as the greatest football team of all time.

    And yes, you're crazy.

    My pick is the Jets.

    I'm crazy too.

The Denver Bron....Nevermind, even I don't believe that...But we should be a lot better now that Doogie Mclovin (aka Josh Mcdaniels) was fired as coach.

I have a friend in Denver that used to always want to talk NFL, and, of course, Denver Broncos. After McDaniels came aboard the football talk died right along with the Bronco fans hopes. Who replaced him?

John Fox, who coached Carolina took over as coach and John Elway is now the boss of the Front Office. Doogie had both positions before.

In Bronco news...We got Elvis Dumervil back from being injured all last year and just signed a free agent DL named Demario Pressley...So now we have Elvis and Pressley on the DL. I'm all shook up!

Denver all the way baby. Of course I always have my back up team... the San Diego Bolts...ahem I mean... CHARGERS!

Speaking strictly of our division (AFC West) I am anxious to see how the Raiders and especially Kansas City do this season. Raiders should be more or less the same, but if Kansas can build on the momentum from last season I'm going to be one upset Denver Donkey this year...

We looked pretty good last night...Granted it was preseason and against the Bills, but it's looks like our D is greatly improved from last year.

I think the Raiders have taken a step back. I think KC may too. SD has to over-come the Norv factor and win early. I predict all 4 teams will end up 8-8 and our Broncos will win the division due to the 32nd tie breaker.

(With predictions like mine, good thing I'm no longer in Las Vegas!)

I should just echo what Jerry says every season, "This season's a disappointment if Dallas doesn't make it to the Super Bowl." As for a quick prediction though, I say Atlanta vs. New England and you can draw your own conclusions from there.

I honestly think the Lions are the worse team in SPORTS history... all of Detroit other teams have something to cheer about... the Lions? um... We had the best running back ever... (yep Barry Sanders) and we were one game away from the Superbowl one year... wow...

That's funny. Hope for your sake it doesn't turn out to be Heartbreak Hotel again.

The Lions are a team on the rise. They've drafted some good young talent since they got rid of Matt Millen as GM. I doubt very much if they're Superbowl ready, but they could surprise a few teams. Might even play .500 this year, depending on their schedule and injuries. For them, that would be a milestone.

Thank Mr. Ford for our woes. He is 100% the problem. Either someone wants to be a winner or they don't. He has proven again and again over several decades that he doesn't want to win. Lions fans are some of the biggest suckers in the world too. If we would all quit going to the games he'd get with the program eventually I think.

Is it because he's a poor judge of personnel, like Matt Millen as GM, for example? Too loyal to those he likes that aren't performing well? Too cheap?

GGurl, as a Browns fan I have to disagree. Jim Brown better than Barry in my book ... but I'm biased.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Packers take it all. Philly looks bad for all their "Dream Team" smack. Pittsburgh sure spanked them.
