Anyone using Blue host and suffering with their DDoS attack ?
I have a dedicated IP with them and couldn't understand why all my sites were suddenly taking so long to load so I had a quick chat with 'em.

| When we have a DDoS attack on a server, we move everyone that is on a shared IP address to a temporary dedicated IP address so we can tell who the attack is targeted at and block the site so we can get the server back under control. Unfortunately, this causes a DNS propagation when we change the accounts to a dedicated IP. Once the DDoS attack has been taken care of, we will move the accounts back to the normal shared IP they were on previously. This, too, will also cause a DNS propagation. The propagation generally takes several hours for changing to the dedicated IP and then again for changing back. |
