Which Warriors Are YOU Stalking?

I've realised that there are a few Warriors who post pure gold on here from time to time, and it helps to follow their posts so you can learn from them.

There are way too many posts on here for you to follow everything, so it helps to know a handful of Warriors who post info that is worth reading.

Here are three Warriors that I have found to be extremely helpful (I hope they don't mind my naming them):

Celente
Myob
Ben Salez (who no longer seems to frequent here I think, but was monumental in helping to shape my current success when he was posting here some months ago)

Please post your favorite, most inspiring Warriors on here so I can stalk them too. I'm sure everyone visiting this thread will benefit as well.

Nice one guys, I really didn't think this post would get any replies at the rate it sank away from the first page.

Just took a look at a post by zues66 - some excellent advice on keyword research in a quick 5-min video. Will take a look at some more of his posts.

Alexa Smith - sure, she posts in here all the time I think everyone here knows who she is. Very helpful.

Kim Roach & Eric Louviere, I also know about these guys, both provide a LOT of value, I ought to follow them a little more, thanks for the reminder.

Has WF ever had somekind of member 'meet-up' or something like that somewhere? Would be great to meet some of these personalities, in real-life, one day....

There are really too many to count. There was another thread on this not too long ago (I posted a short list of the people I follow) that was full of some great names.

If you hang around in the right threads then you will see that there is a large population of posters who are worth "stalking". It's all about finding the right conversations and not spending all day in the sensationalist threads or the WSO forum.

For the sake of looking like some form of a normal person I won't state who I "stalk". Last thing I need is to be labeled as a creeper.

C'mon, tell us who they are. You can use the word 'follow' or 'admire' or 'respect' if you like. I wanted to change the title of the thread with the hope that more people would reply, but the forum didn't let me D:

well it depends on when someone posts....

I don't agree with anyone 100% of the time...one thread I could love them and in another I may think their out of line...can't really say who I stalk...

myob and celente does have some interesting perspectives though.

I have to be honest, while I understand the purpose of these threads, I'm not what you would call a fan.

Who I follow may be completely meaningless to someone else.

Some people are followed because they have a similar style; others are followed because they have a completely different style.

Do you follow people using the same basic business model? Or do you follow those with new business models that you might like to try?

Do you relate to them, or do they challenge you?

Why do you follow them, and why does that matter to me or anybody else? Answer that, and then we will have a frame of reference, otherwise it's just a list of names without any real meaning (if that makes sense).

I suppose it could be a nice shortcut for some people to have such a list, but if you need somebody to tell you who to follow, then you're a follower to the Nth degree. Not that I'm mad or anything, and it's not really a complaint, but rather more of an observation.

    Okay...

    Who do I follow?

My forum friends - They're my friends for a reason, and I also have their back when needed.

New people - I love seeing new people here, and appreciate the opportunity to help them when I can. I also like it when someone new starts contributing right away.

Forum veterans - These are the people who have been here for a long time, and have a different perspective.

Just about anybody - I don't really think of myself as a follower. I rarely click on a thread based solely on the author, and look at the subject line instead.

    All the best,
    Michael

You have a good point there, but I have to disagree somewhat.

One of the biggest problems I've had in this business is not knowing who to trust. When you don't know beans about IM, it's easy to worship at the feet of fools, or even worse, scammers. It takes a while to get to the point where you recognize BS when you hear it, and there's a lot of well-meaning people who simply don't know what they're talking about, but are compelled by their good nature to give advice. Not badmouthing these guys (or gals), but it's real easy to get bad advice in this business! I wish I had known better who to listen to early in this game, it would have saved me alot of time.

That being said, I would be remiss if I didn't add at least a couple of names to the list:

      E. Brian Rose - if you wanna do PLR (or a host of other things), Brian's a great guy to listen to.

Willy Crawford - always a great perspective - this guy's down-to-earth and every post I've seen from him has been insightful and helpful.

drMani - Just good knowledge - this guy's a storehouse of info!

      That's my $0.02 worth

*Sigh* Alright lol. These are some of the Warriors who I consistently agree with or have been educated/entertained by (in no particular order):

Dan C Rinnert: Love the dry humor that is mixed in with qualitative posts. His is one of the few lists that I have actually stayed on.

Bill Farnham: See him a lot in threads that lead to some form of debate. You can count on a level headed response. His posts either stop me from making what could be a stupid response, or say what I would have said.

buzztops (added today): If you haven't seen his new thread yet, you should (its on the first page). Someone willing to go to that much trouble to help someone out gets instant respect in my book.

WillR: Usually posts about interesting topics, and more often than not I find myself on the same side of the fence as him on many topics.

Tina Golden: It's cool to see someone who takes keeping the forum clean so seriously. Does anyone know if she's a mod? Hopefully not. It's cooler to envision a WF Batman (I own the movie rights so don't get any ideas).

tpw: View him in kinda the same way as Bill Farnham, levelheaded and logical. Always been the preferred traits to me.

Alexa Smith: Actually had to debate this one a bit...as there are times that I have disagreed with some things that she's said. Based on pure volume though these posts ended up in the minority, and I deliver props where props are due.

and finally (until recently) Paul Myers: Leadership positions aren't easy. Everyone here who is running their own business already (or like me, was a food service manager lol) knows what it's like to be in that position. To be frank, it can be a b****. 99 times out of a 100 though, I think Paul gets it right.

So why did I put "until recently?" Simple. I got curious, and opted into his list. The report was great, so I went to the "buy Paul a beer" thing. Through this, I come to find out the man is a Yankee fan. Unforgivable. If any of the others I listed are also NYY fans, please inform me so I can stop following them as well.

Alright, I'm done with my ass kissing for the evening :p. As I said in the previous post: this is just a very short version. There have been a large number of Warriors who have impressed me at one point or another.

Tina isn't a mod. You're smart to follow her though. She's good people and is part of one of my mastermind groups. All top-notch folks.

As to the "stalking" question, I've never been a follower. Most of the time that's a blessing, sometimes it's a curse. There are a lot of people I pay attention to when they say something, but it's not always for reasons that would be useful to someone else.

I usually decline to answer threads like this because I have a lot of friends here and wouldn't want to leave anyone out that deserves to be listed. I will say there are a heckuva lot of good people that haven't been mentioned yet.

Another inspiring post there celente, nice one. I totally relate to the above quote. My current situation however, is to wake up and not know if what I'll be doing today will make me any money.

Lol it's still tough, but you gotta keep ploughing through.

There is no way I can laugh at you. I was there. It just takes time for mr Brain to start putting the pieces of the jigsaw together.

You will get there I am sure. If you stray, there are lots of warriors here to help and support you

Ok ok, that's enough mate. If you make me cry I'm either going to have to kill you or take you up on your 1 on 1 coaching, and I can afford neither.

I know what I need to do, I made it work for one of my products, the second one flopped (great product, poor market selection), I'm working on my third, and I just need to keep going until well yeh - like you say - it all fits in like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Nice one

Tina Golden, Willr, William Meers, Tara Hout, Dawn Marie. My 'stalking' is based on one thing only--INTEGRITY. The business model doesn't matter, as I like to read about all kinds of stuff. If the integrity is there, then it's so much easier to evaluate whether I'd buy anything from them or listen to anyone they recommend. I'm gonna marry Willr and adopt the others. 'nuff said....

Thanks for the mention in here.

    I am greatful.

But I can say I am no one special. The best warriors are the ones out there that helped me on this forum when I was struggling to pay my bills all those years ago. They are the real heros, and they know who they are.

I understand what it is, and what many people are going through. The mentality of a stugglilng newbie, or someone brain fried on info overload. I remember how frustrating and depressing that can be at times, to wake up and not know where to go or what to do.

It was this forum, that helped me realise making money is about mindset and learning the right actions to take in sequence. That is what will help you win this game. And it was because of the hero warriors I make mention of that helped me quit my crappy 9 to 5'er. The resignation letter was a cracker!!!

To some people this forum is a gem. If you know how to use it properly!!!

To others, this forum can set you financially free for the rest of your life, and help you earn more money in a month than most people do in a entire year. It doesnt matter what age or background you are, or how much of a loser you think you are. (you are not!) Whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve. If I can do it, anyone out there can!!

We have a powerful place here, and stalking is great but it will be taking action ON YOUR BEHALF that will make you money.

I use to stalk the willie crawfords, and frank kernies and their henchmen lol, there are tons of great warriors in here. But Money will only come when you study and learn more from these guys and take action. Only then you can cut the wheat from the chaff and learn what keeps making you money consistently, and what fails to make you money.

If listbuilding keep making you money, keep doing it.

If your adsense site blogs are making you money, keep posting SEO blog posts.

If you find writing articles or posting blogs comments on high traffic sites keep making you money, well yes.... keep doing that.

Whatever you do that keeps bringing you in sales, write it down and keep doing it, and try to upscale and outsource it if you have the fund available. Then keep pumping your profits into things that keep bringing in money and set your self income goals. That is what I did.

John Reese was good too back in the day (out of IM niche for now) and I will quote him for all those in here that want to learn from a very smart dude. "Keep doing things that make you money, and stop doing things that fail to make you money" Ummmm ok, it ain't rocket science....but that sentence is up on the wall behind my monitor IN BOLD. And I look at it every day and follow it everyday to the note. It is worth more to me than any $9000 coaching program or $997 course or $97 ebook out there.

TEST THINGS, THEN TEST OTHER THINGS, AND WRITE DOWN WHAT WORKS, AND KEEP DOING IT, OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I do not class myself as a marketer really, I am more a testing addict. To find out what bring in results and what fails and Bombs horribly. It is the secret to any multimillion dollar company you come across.

Looking for the holy grail is a lonely road, I been there several times, and you eventually work out there IS NO HOLY GRAIL! You have already FOUND IT!!! It's right here and you can come here 24 hours a day with one click of your mouse button.

    Have a awesome weekend

    Celente.

This thread is beneficial to me because if I see a thread that particularly stands out to me, I like to see what other threads the author has started for any great advice. This gives me a few more people to stalk... er... admire.

I can't remember everyone off the top of my head, but Celente and Eric Louviere would be part of my list.

"Stalking" is a different way to put it..."Snow_Predator"
    Good subject though...

    For good mobile advice -
WillR and Quentin - Fair Dinkum!
Jay Moreno - always great advice and help
Warrior Ben has some good tips too...

Too many others to mention - Maria Gudelis ,EBR, John Spangler...give much of their time...
The whole Warrior Forum is like playing "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon"
(is Kevin Bacon in IM? - he should be...)
SO much help and camaraderie in this forum I would hate to start listing and forget someone...

And this thread gave me some new ones to STALK!
