Coincidence??? I'm hoping it's a sign!

Just before Christmas I started up a new business and after the first 2 weeks of solid marketing I got my first customer.

Things didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped with this transaction so I was in constant contact with her up until the package arrived at her house.

(It was a Christmas present she had bought for someone else).

Christmas day came around and I checked my emails quickly and found one from her saying that there was something missing and she couldn't get the item to work.

I apologised for this and managed to solve this problem as quickly as I possibly could at my own cost; finally getting it all sorted on the 28th December.

I then sent her another email apologising again for my oversight and thanked her yet again for her custom, and her patience.

I also said that I was glad I was able to get this sorted before the 29th because that was my birthday.

Imagine my suprise when I received a reply from her saying that the 29th was also her birthday!!!

My first customer from my new business just happens to have the same birthday as me!

What are the chances?

Just thought I'd share this with all you guys.

Take care,

Mark

There are no coincidences. Now you just have to figure out what it all means. Any possibilities you weren't a single birth?

That's a good omen, probably, but in a group of 55 people there is almost a certainty that two of them will share the same birthday.

Logically you would expect that you would need at least 365 people to find two who share their birth date but with as few as 23 people, there is a 50% probablilty that two will share their birthdays.

At a seminar I did in Dorking, more years ago than I care to remember, I addressed 425 people and, when checking the registration papers afterwards, discovered that there were two people in the audience who were born on February 29th!

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
