WSOs and PDFs on Kindle, iPad?

Hi,

So i have been reading ALOT of WSOs lately mostly in the form of PDFs and sometimes the videos etc.. At night its been a pain to read these on my laptop so i was looking to go the tablet route. I would like to try the kindle because its cheaper than the iPad but i dont want to buy it if its tough to get the wsos/pdfs to view properly on the kindle. I have heard most display funky? Is this true? Also it seems that the iPad would be much easier to email or transfer the zip to.

Any suggestions would be great and in a nutshell i guess my question is which tablet will handle these wsos/ebooks the best. Being able to watch the wsos in the form of videos (mp4, .mov is also a plus) thanks.

    Hi,

    I actually own a kindle and it has its pros and cons.

    First of all, the display is too small to read most PDFs properly, I increase the contrast which makes it a bit better, still, I wish I had gotten the Kindle DX.

    You obviously can't watch any videos on the Kindle either.

    However, it is enough for most WSOs and e-books and just a lot easier to handle than a printed out version of the e-book (especially in the bathtub ). You can easily transfer your documents over USB or I just send them to the free e-mail address and have my Kindle download them over Wi-Fi.

    I think you might also be happy with a tablet computer, though I have no experiences with them.

    Hmm ok, i didnt know if I could watch certain movies on it but it sounds like no. I see that the apple store has the 399$ ipad original refurb so maybe I will go that route. Thanks

      Yes, the screen of the Kindle has a very slow reaction time. That's because there are some small beads in there that have one white and one black side and they are being turned by an electrical mechanism.

      The good thing: It only needs energy while the page is turning.

      The bad thing: Videos etc. are pretty much impossible.
