Newbie Thoughts & Observations
Yes I am a" newbie" to this scene. And I would like to express my opinion on what I've observed thus far.
I'm sure that there are some people making money (some good money) in the vast internet market. And I'm also sure that a large percentage of the claims are grossly overstated.
I am basically trying to figure out which of the many types of income sources I want to pursue. I'm not really a writer so article writing wouldn't work.
I'm not much on graphics so that rules out website design. I'm certainly not a techno geek, and know nothing about programming or writing code. And I don't have a boatload of money to gamble on adwords. I'm thinking about affiliate marketing, but it appears that when I google a product or a new launch that most of the "gurus" are offering some type of freebie or other incentive to buy through their link. I have nothing like this to offer.
I have heard that in order to be successful in this that you need to establish several revenue streams. So I have to start somewhere. Question is where do I find the right, legitimate information to begin this process? I can see there are literally thousands of products,programs,software, etc. out there and it of course would take more money to purchase all of them than I would ever hope to make.
And I have also noticed several free resources on this forum. I'm beginning to see the value of this site the more I explore it.
I of course receive numerous emails with different offers most with the old "opt in" box stating of course that your info will never be sold or given away. I have as an experiment, I put a pen name and a throw away email address in to see what would happen. And guess what, within a couple of days this email address is receiving bunches of offers. Go figure. Lol.
Anyway I'm glad to have found the WF and look forward to reading it often.
Whichever way I decide to go, I will be focused and pursue that method and that method only until I'm sure that it either works for me or it doesn't.one secrete I do know is that perseverance usually pays off.
I welcome any and all suggestions and any constructive criticisms you warriors care to offer.
