Did you ever watch Trainspotting from 1996?

If so, what did you think of the film?

Can hardly believe this is 15 years old already!

Not sure if it was released in America?

Warning: If you watch the film there are many very disturbing scenes and the language is extremely colorful to say the very least!

I remember that movie fondly. Mostly because it was the first movie I had ever downloaded from the internet. I think it was around 1998. It was my first experience w/ the DivX format, and after seeing how clear the movie was I knew immediately that the movie industry would be in trouble if they didn't find a way to harness the technology.

As for the movie, it was disturbing, but very powerful. It was also my first time seeing Ewan McGregor - well before Starwars. It was a great movie, but not for the faint of heart.

I didn't think it was all that bad. Movies like "The Exorcist" are more disturbing for me. McGregor was awesome in Star Wars. (Especially the final battle with Anakin Skywalker. Great acting on his part.)

There are parts of it that are disturbing for me. For instance I just tried to watch it again, am having a hard time getting past the suppository bathroom scene. Also the scene where the baby dies is difficult for me to watch.

I thought about watching it until a friend of mine who did see it warned me about the dead baby in the movie.

"Human Traffic" is another movie along those lines. (You can view it all for free on YouTube.)
