Think I have Glandular fever last 3 months

3 months ago I had the flu from hell - at the time I thought it must be swine flu

I had some pseudoephidrine and paracetomol eveyday & stayed in bed for 7 days.

Had huge dry booger flakes, blood nose, terrible incessant cough, etc.

Then it passed but the cough kept coming back.

Then after 6 weeks I got the cold from hell - like a knife stabbing my throat - lost my voice too.

At this point I thought I had a dose of swine flu followed by a bad cold - lots of people have the same thing here this winter. Probably 50% of the people I know have been sick.

Last night I got the shakes, was feeling weird for some time - kind of delirious, then the cough came back. I had a fever most of the night.

I've had that cough on and off for 3 months. Today I have projectile diarrhea but the other symptoms have subsided.

I'm confident now that is glandular fever. I think I have had trouble shaking it because I didnt rest enough. I've been doing hardcore functional kettlebell workouts when I felt well - which has been most of the time.

Now I will go on an antibiotic regimen, sauna therapy and no heavy weights or cardio for 3 weeks.

no sauna therapy is legit - basically its like an artificial fever that kills the bugs

any thing i eat is out the other end in about 20 minutes - gunna see a doctor tomorrow

Aaghhhh gurgling guts - maybe it will just subside

Could have done without the mental images.

Perhaps you could get a doctor's diagnosis rather than trying to self-diagnose?

      ^^^ This.

Sorry to hear you're still unwell, but glandular fever (if that's what it is) doesn't respond to antibiotics anyway, because it's viral, not bacterial.

I wish you well ... but you need to see a doctor, and stop guessing.
