Almost 10 years on form 2001 What.

Gee 10 years ago the Twin Towers and the attack on the USA happened?

What was the one stand out memory from that incident?

Mine was proably watching it unfold on TV after the 1st plane had hit and thinking it was a tragic accident and then from no-where i saw the 2nd plane fly in. I remember thinking "gee he's close to an accident scene" then Wham...then I said/knew "it's a terrorist attack."

    I was in 9th grade ten years ago. I remember watching the TV in my first hour class, everyone had their had down doing homework except for a select few of us. I saw the second plane hit the tower live on TV. I remember seeing the explosion and it made me feel so uneasy. It still does, mostly because I remember my original reaction to it.

    It was like a movie that day... but real, which I guess Hollywood should pat themselves on the back every time we say a real life tragedy felt like we were watching a movie. I had no idea what a terrorist was, or why someone would be attacking us. I was more interested in WWF wrestling and the MTV Music Awards. The whole concept of "there are people in the world that would kill me for being an American" was something I was never exposed to.

      Interesting. Same thing I felt when President Kennedy was assassinated when I was in 3rd grade. I was in a small town. People didn't kill each other there. I couldn't figure out why someone would kill the president.

      I was cleaning around the house. Had the tv on and listening but not watching until I heard something about an attack and went to watch what was going on. By the time I saw it, it was just reruns of the two planes hitting.
