Anyone recommend good UK hosting for my site?

    Wanting UK hosting, myself, about a year ago, I did a lot of research (here and elsewhere) and came up with "Heart Internet" (.co.uk) who are not exactly the cheapest (though the difference between "cheap" and "expensive", in this context, is so small that I can't see this mattering much to most people?) but have a stellar record for customer service. I've been using their service ever since, and am more than satisfied with them.

    I use Zen, the best I've used in a decade, but is probably one of the most expensive ones in the UK.

      I have used webhosting.uk.com, names.co.uk, 1and1.co.uk and eukhost.com

      The best value is webhosting.uk.com and it also has cPanel. eukhost also has cPanel and is quite good. They're all really expensive compared to US hosts - I guess it's because the market is smaller.

      Names.co.uk have great customer service but the use zeus servers instead of apache so it takes a little more technical knowledge if you want to install scripts such as Wordpress easily.
