Has anyone seen Contagion? SPOILERS for those that haven't..
I just saw Contagion last night and I enjoyed the film. I thought it was a good movie, yet I didn't particularly like the ending or some other points in the movie. If you've seen it, discuss here anything you liked or didn't like about it.
The ending did make a loop but I'm not sure I liked the direction. I also didn't like that as it was just about to get out of control, a vaccine was found so quickly as well as this sort of point that the government can handle anything and a little marshall law, curfew, and quarantine of entire cities works so well without almost a hitch. It seemed to go from a quandary and cluster eff and shows how the there's too much bureaucracy and problems to perfectly within control as if there are two completely different messages within the movie about whether or not the government and CDC/WHO could handle something like this. It was less about the actual infection and more about the infrastructure in place and handling of it. Any opinions?
