Cant help someone who wont help themself...

You've been here since July - just think how thrilling it is getting those "requests" for years.

Just giving you something to look forward to for when you get rich and famous , at which time you can also count on adding being hit up by every charity you ever heard of and more.

Oh man, I cant imagine how swamped you "OG" members are with PM's, skype requests and all that good stuff from freeloaders wanting a handout.

I mean, dont get me wrong. I enjoy helping people. I really do. I've found that the best way to become successful is to help others become successful.

But there is a certain point to where I just get sick of "helping" them because they wont help themselves..

They just keep wanting me to tell them how to set things up, then that is not good enough so they want me to physically set it up FOR them for free.. I mean come on!

Now, when I am rich and famous I probably wouldnt mind doing a bit of "charity" work for people. But at this time, I have my own things that I should be working on that DO pay me. Just because I'm successful with my ventures doesn't mean I don't have my own problems. I'm only human.

Just like them, I need some help every now and again too. But the difference is that I will actually put in the effort to fix my problems. I dont expect some knight in shining armor to come along and do everything for me.

I cant spend half my day holding their hand because they are too lazy to use the search feature of the forums, or Google, or ANY search engine for that matter.

LOL the information is out there, all it takes is a few keystrokes to find it, and a will to implement what you learn into your techniques or methods.

After all, trial & error is your best friend in this business. What works for 1 person isn't guaranteed to work for everyone else. Especially since everyone else won't be in the same niche.

yes , you are right man.... if we need some help from people, we should at least prepare to do our own work and homework.... dont just wait for other people to do it... i hate that kind of people too

lol I was a bit aggravated and just mainly needed to vent when I created this thread.

I'm actually a really laid back guy.. I just cant stand it when people expect you to do their work for them. Especially when they havent even offered to pay you.. lol I DO freelance work for clients but its not free!

Helping people that are willing to help themselves is one thing, and it's rewarding; but helping those with a sense of entitlement is a waste of your time because they'll do nothing but look for more free whatever. The road to futility is paved with the carcasses of the "want it all but do nothing" crowd.

that is really annoying.
people should try to do the work themselves first before asking for help.
i for one is a bit shy asking anyone for help not unless i'm really at a dead-end
nonetheless, a still try to do most of the work.
