        As a Canadian the thought of half the laws freak me out. Bill c-51 is quite terrorizing (which i signed the protest for, no bill c-51) and should be protested. Although should there be some kind of regulation to what naturopath medicines the public buys? For example: If i were to buy a fruit extract product and I did not know that it was made with a GMO non organic produce, or if the company who made the product overseas processing plant was a sterile environment?

        I dont think the government could believe the public would go to the doctor for a perscription for a clove of garlic, some basil and maybe a bit of oregano on a weekly bases depending on there menu for the week. Let alone let the government invade our homes to make sure we are not growing our own basil or ginsing.
        We need to be active voters, it is hard to go vote when there doesn't seem any hope, but the old and the opinionated sure do. In Victoria were I live one year on a vote for the new mayor, there was a big stink that know one wanted this one guy in. The voting stats were that less than 50% of the voting population actually voted. Of that only 33ish% of the votes got the mayor that know one wanted in. Does your vote matter? Yes.

            Pierce - Your people need to get very active and very loud right now - you are out of time for apathy. I am posting this outrage on my blog to help get word out. I imagine this isn't a piece of legislation they wanted widespread knowledge of. Your people can't possibly be so useless that they will just let this kind of Nazi law in without a fight?

            If you are Canadian, and you are sitting back and ignoring this, you lose your right to ever call anyone in America stupid, apathetic or lazy.

                Sal I am so glad you posted that....I have been so wrapped up in helping the Natural Health Products Protection Association of Canada defeat this bill that I never took the time to post it here. The site you mentioned is closely aligned with the NHPPA (Shawn Buckley, President of NHPPA was Truehopes lawyer which fought the government and won) are the leaders in this fight.

                If any Canadians read this thread please go to the site Sal mentioned and help us remove this bill once and for all. It is not good enough that the govt. has felt the heat and tabled the bill. We must make them see the error of their ways and just drop this piece of crap legislation.

      I'm canadian and I can personally say the Stephen Harper(our prime minister) Said pubically that he will cancel this bill.
      EVEN if he did not, an election will most liekly occur in october or november. Both parties have agreed that they will force an election.
      This bill is total bullsh** and if you knew half the bills that were made up here you would drop dead.
      The point is i could say i'm going to make a law to put everyone with medium hair length is jail...that doens't mean its going to happen!
      The current party in power is just 5% more popular than the liberals(oppostion party).
      The conservitives have just 7 more seats in the house than the liberals. Meaning even if every member for the current party in power supported this bill it would just get shot down by the other 3.

      I'm sure there are bills in the states that are just as weird.

      Oh yes - just as frightening. Unfortunately, they are getting passed against our will left and right, despite protest, despite being illegal as hell.

      The reason C-51 is so terrifying to Americans is that it results from our countries both being tied against our wills into the CODEX initiative and if it happens there, we are next. The CODEX initiative is genocide via malnutrition. No kidding, nutrients are determined toxins in that bill. The NWO got us roped and tied on that one and now it is being implemented slowly here and there so no one will notice until it is too late to do anything but forage the wilderness in hopes for edible plants to sustain our needs. *******s. And yes Sonora - they need to be shot. Unfortunately, I refuse to give my life up for the cud chewing masses -but you are very welcome to take your best any time you want.
