Attention Internet Marketing Technophiles, Geeks and Mobile Marketers

Most people talk about internet marketing being the perfect work from home business but I suspect that most of us manage our online business from anywhere and not just from home.

What technology do you use in your mobile marketing efforts? I'm curious about specific equipment you find helpful, what you carry your stuff around in, what you use to stay organized and connected.

For example: I spend a lot of time at Starbucks and Barnes & Noble catching up on my networking and writing content. I use a Mac Powerbook G4 (can't wait to get a new aluminum Macbook) and a Sprint USB high-speed modem when I'm not using WiFi. I also have an AT&T Fuze smartphone when I don't want to use the laptop and just purchased a Pulse smartpen for notetaking.

What's in your mobile arsenal and how do you use your stuff?

Thanks for the response. Which Palm are you using? I've also changed from ReCaptcha to an image verification setting; please feel free to try the forum again.

I have Verizon Broadband Wireless and a Cradlepoint CTR 350. The Broadband wireless gives me perfectly acceptable broadband through a USB gizmo the size of a thumb drive. It works great all over the country, including Hawaii.

The Cradlepoint CTR 350 is a router and has a USB port. You plug the Verizon one into it, and now everyone in the room with wireless cards has net access. Totally rocks when the family goes on vacation, because my wife & I both use MacBook Airs late into the night. (I also have a Windows machine and it works great too.)

The Cradlepoint router sounds like a great device for sharing a high-speed connection. I'm using a Sprint USB broadband wireless card and my wife and I share it back and forth with me relying on my phone via Bluetooth when it's her turn to use the USB modem. Your router solution would provide me with greater convenience. I'll see if Sprint has a comparable offering. Thanks for the post!

I checked out the Cradlepoint mobile broadband routers and they have got to be one of the best kept mobile computing secrets around. Cable broadband is nice, but not portable so you get stuck searching for a WiFi access point or carrying a USB modem with you that isn't available to multiple users. With a Cradlepoint router, you take your broadband connection with you and can share it all you want by becoming a portable broadband access point. I've have to add this product to my list of internet marketing road warrior tools. Thanks to tomcam for the tip!
