Wisdom vs Knowledge?

Knowledge can be destructive without the wisdom to use it properly - and wisdom can't be attained without knowledge.

Seek knowledge - pray for the wisdom to use it well.

  Wisdom every time. It takes specialized knowledge in order to build a nuclear bomb but it is not wise to do so...

I think it depends on the context of "knowledge".

If by knowledge you mean simple "book" knowledge, as in memorizing facts and figures, then wisdom wins hands-down.

However, wisdom can be gained through personal experience and observation, which, in turn gives you knowledge beyond facts and figures.
In which case, the 2 go hand-in-hand.

I think, to a certain degree, wisdom is a character trait that leads people to observe and learn.

I think you are confusing education and knowledge. You can't have wisdom about something you have no idea about. Everyday life gives us knowledge - experience is knowledge, education is just one more form of knowledge, not knowledge itself.

I think I may be out my league here but, here goes...

I think education and knowledge are one in the same.
If I hit my head on something and it hurts I have just been been educated.
I now know that if I hit my head on something it will hurt.

Wisdom is knowing not to hit my head on something in the first place.

Knowledge is a result of being educated.
Wisdom is having insite without necessarily having knowledge.

I have to agree with HeySal. Just like Solomon though, wisdom alone is not enough.. it must be accompanied by knowledge and the will to stand firm.

  Personally, you cannot attain wisdom in some aspects of life without knowledge.
  Although, the latter is priceless in comparison. With regards to knowledge, it depends if it's beneficial in your decision making or not. Hence, wisdom comes into play in your final decision based on your knowledge i guess.

I think wisdom comes from experiance, or age. Knowledge grows from what your interested in.
The longer your interested in a subject, the wiser you become in using that knowledge.

Wisdom for me. Anyone can get Knowledge just by opening up a couple of books. But wisdom comes from age and tough things you go threw in life. What dont kill you will make you stronger.
