GRRR!!! Not happy with this thread!!!!

Every year the denizens of the OT Forum vote on the "Dumbest Thread Of The Year". In the 48 years that this contest has been run, I've been the runaway winner each time. Most years I get the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. It is my birthright to win this contest.

This year however, there's no way I can compete with this thread for boneheadedness.

I think it is an off topic forum therefore freestyle is allowed here (political and religious are not allowed) just wanted to hear some of their ideas i don't think its harmful to anyone else and this forum is not a place for competition but a room for learning. I'm not promoting something as you can see right?

Nature lady, funny you sound like a politician, you never gave an answer.

i read a few articles of scientists weighing people as they die and each person loses almost an ounce or two at death... an unseen loss of weight. ironically as the dogs or cats die, they weigh the same at death.

I am unseeing the point of this thread.

Perhaps the OP would like to add some clarity to the question. For example, perhaps defining what the unseen means in the context of his post would promote a better dialog. I mean, I'm sure there are some dust bunnies under my refrigerator that are unseen to this point in time. But if I move the fridge, they'd become seen. Shall we talk about that?

If by "unseen" you mean something like a ghost,
then many people have at times claimed to have seen the unseen.
And sometimes the "unseen" has been captured on film for all to see.

Ah. there ya go. I thought you might have been talking about ghosts, demons, etc. Apparently not all are unseen. They seem to be visible sometimes. At other times there are anomolies in atmosphere or magnetism, and no - our eyes can't detect some things. That doesn't mean they aren't around, just means human eyes can't detect them. Sometimes I wonder if animals can or if they just sense things in other ways, but people report and record strange behaviors in pets when some of these apparitions are around.

I agree with what people were saying above - it has to have wavelengths within our vision range. Otherwise our only real detection proof is via machines.

What am I talking about - haven't a clue
Am I even here - my wife says not usually
So if some of you are able to see the unseen and you see me there please bring me back home where I am constantly unseen but at least I'm fed and watered. -----

Its not eyes that you can only see with... dreams are another medium of vision for human beings where we see things even when we have our eyes closed. Therefore, a human capability of imagination is so strong that I believe it is possible to see the unseen with their eyes opened.

People are programmed not to be sensitive to them. As children whenever they see something or feel something they are told that they didn't, or it was something else, or told they are telling "stories". Some people have parents or other adults around that are receptive to what is going on themselves, and keep the kids from being programmed against these types of experiences. From what I have seen in research, the energies are extremely subtle so if you aren't actively open to them they will be missed completely.

No, you can't "sees the unseen", but you can certainly experience the scientifically unexplainable...and that comes from a self-professed science geek.
