Internet Irony

Nothing to do with the marketing aspect of the Internet, really, but.....

The irony isn't lost on me, as I sit here, listening to the Buggles "Video Killed the Radio Star" streaming over the Internet from Hong Kong, 7,000 miles away.

Just a thought.....

      I was thinking more that not only was that song the first to be played on M-TV, which rarely if ever shows actual music videos anymore, the Internet has brought radio back, but in a much more powerful way than it ever was as a local medium. So, not only did video not kill the radio star, but thanks to the Internet, the radio star may be burning more brightly now than ever before.
