Commercials You HATE

Ever have one of those commercials (not infomercials) that you positively can't stand?

Seeing that geico commercial with the two stacks of money and the eyeballs makes me think someone in their marketing department has a serious case of the stupids.

You can just picture 2 drunk marketing reps putting googly eyes on a dollar bill at the office Christmas party going - "OMG!! That's it!!"

And they got PAID for that campaign....

Hubby and I saw that Geico commercial earlier this evening and he said how stupid that commercial was. I didn't even GET the premise of it and I'm pretty quick on those things.

Stupid is an understatement. UGH!

I hate the car commercials that "yell" at you. Like shouting at me is going to make me buy your product! Does that EVEN work?

This one's funny, but it's hard to watch. If it's possible to hate a kid, then this kid is that kid.

Subways $5.00 footlong. The lyrics suck and make me sick. As far as I'm concerned $5.00 for a sub is no frikin deal.

I like the commercial from about ten years ago when a group of four male buddies arrive at this mountain cabin, all ready for some fun outdoorsy male bondin'.

When they get inside, they realize they don't have any food, so they open the refrigerator and the ONLY thing inside is a six-pack of whatever beer is being advertised.

So they've just discovered that the only sustenace they have for their entire vacation is approximately 1.5 beers per man -- and some typical cheap American pisswater brand at that -- and what's their reaction?

"It doesn't get any better than this!"

They sure must lead exciting lives.

I hear you Ken. It's amazing how many commercials I've seen and can't remember specifically what product they've pitched. There are a few who get it right though. And the video below shows one of them. I always remember it's Blaupunkt.
