Hi,

I tried starting a thread on another section of the forum but was blocked because I don't have enough "posts". I've started a few threads (like this one) and tried replying to off-topic message, but couldn't "earn" a post. How does my post count go up?

Thanks!

When you post in 'The Off Topic Forum', your post count will not goes up as the posting here is not counted.

There are very few spots that you have to have a minimum post count in order to start a thread. In fact, the only one that I'm aware of is the review section and that rule is there for a reason.

There are plenty of other sections to post in that will count for you.
