i tried to PM this guy for a contest, but I cant PM him cuz i dont have 50 posts. So my immediate reaction was to reply to everybody's thread. I checked my profile, and it said i only have 1 post.

So is a post a reply, or a thread?? because I cant make 49 threads in time for this guys contest. I'm kinda scared i'll get banned for so many threads lol

Posting in this off topic forum does not count, so try posting in other forums.

Yes, a reply is consider a post

A post is a reply in a thread that actually adds value to that thread. Typing things like
'thanks for that' or 'that was good' are not good examples of posts. Quality is better than quantity here.

I have good news for you: actually that isn't quite right.

The reality is that you can't PM him "cuz" you haven't made 50 posts and you haven't joined the War Room.

Since you're going to want to do that soon enough, anyway, there's your answer: join the War Room (it's only $37 for 20 years, or about $0.15 per month) and you'll be able to send private messages straight away.

@Alexa. You can pm people if you are not a War room member. I was doing it for ages before I became a member myself. I do agree that being a member is valuable and everyone should join but it has no bearing on pms.

It has a direct bearing on private messages in this situation, Laurence: members who join the War Room are exempted from the 50-post requirement before being able to send them.
