I just learned that a principle that Wayne Gretzky applied to hockey was inspirational to Steve Jobs in business and product development:

"There's an old Wayne Gretzky quote that I love. 'I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.' And we've always tried to do that at Apple. Since the very very beginning. And we always will."

    Gretzky inspired everyone who knows much about him. (I think.) He was such an aware player.

    He has another quote that you see frequently in IM, something like '100% of the shots you don't take, don't go in.'

    I didn't know about this one. With the part that Steve added to it, it's good. Thanks.
