The rather "out there" title of this thread is the (working) title of something I've just written that I hope will be of enormous help to a close friend. It involves raising money to help them out of a problematic situation, but I have tried to do it in a way that's a tad more interesting that "please give generously".
However, I've literally just finished the first draft all in one go... and it's late here.. and I'm tired... and I'm probably just too damn close to it all to know if I actually have made it interesting and even entertaining (though it's probably not a subject that could or should be termed "entertaining"), or if what I've written will just be off-putting and uninteresting for people.
Would anyone (preferably someone I already know here) be willing to have a look and let me know what you think? (Just one or two kind people would be perfect
)
It's about 1,700 words, so it shouldn't take that long to read.
