DO you ever feel like there is never enough time in a day to get everything you want to get done, done with? It seems like the days go so fast and I never get all the stuff I want to get done , done.

Sounds like you need a day planner, or just get in the habit of creating lists, whether mental or real.

I work on a list basis, in my head. And I visualize the checkmark's as I complete each item on my list. I've never really felt like I didn't have enough time, except when I'm trying to learn something new.

An easy way to complete all of your tasks in a day is to NOT run scared. I see many people try this. They think that if they just "create this sense of urgency" they'll do everything they need to do and be done with it.

Wrong. You need to complete each task separate of the next. If it bleeds into the next task your going to waste your time jumping between the two. Complete one and move to the next, while eyeing the clock, yet not letting it run you. You run the clock.

I could talk about time management until the end of time! (?) Even then, with a little discipline it'll make those days where you just "cut loose" and see where the rabbit hole goes that much sweeter.

I feel exactly the same way. Even though I work from home, I still don't have enough time to do everything. I wish I was a kid again, time went so slowly back then

Always and I said it about 50 times last week!

I usually have to do a double take at the clock. One moment it's 9pm and the next it's 4am!

        Every day!

In my case (and for others, too, perhaps) it's often because I think I can do more in one block of time than is possible to do.

I've learned to slow down a bit just to avoid the stress of feeling the "no time" pressure. If I don't get done today...I'll work on it tomorrow.
As I don't have a housekeeper, cook, yard service or pet sitter - that stuff takes time, too. Balance is important. It's not only the work you are doing each day - it's the life you are living

Planners and organizers help - but you can do only as much as you can do in one day....and that's ok.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
