Personal Problem + Poll sorta

I have the strangest problem. I wonder if it is just me or do others have this issue.

No matter what chain or what I have on the chain, the clasp for the chain which is supposed to be at the back of your neck is habitually in the front - for example I wear a gold cross - and it looks weird with the big clasp being in the front all the time.

I think I have some strange magnetic force that is doing this - or maybe I am crooked...

Does anybody else have this problem? Laying awake nights worrying about this. (yukyuk not really - but I do wonder and have always wanted to ask if others experience this - not just once in a while, all the time).

Right now our host servers are down and I can't do my work so I am killing time and thought it would be the right time to ask.

Patrician, if they are anything like a few of my chains, the clasp weighs too much, thus it inevitably ends up hanging in front when it should be hidden behind....GRAVITY!

No magnetic force or magic. As you move and turn your head the clasp slides to one side of your neck and mean old Mr. Gravity takes over from there.

thank you both jody and kay.

    both logical conclusions.

much better than the ones i was coming up with.

    however

the cross i am wearing now is cheap hollow 14k - but my real cross (that i am afraid to wear during these 'times') is solid gold with a bunch of stones and i know it is heavier than the clasp -- so you would think that would 'defy gravity' -

... but i am down with your answers and again thank you 4 now i can sleep lol...

You can easily defy gravity, Patrician, and make it stay in place. All these methods work, some more lasting than others:
    • Staples
    • Hot glue
    • Nail
    • Motionlessness
    • Your finger
    Hope that helps.

Now there is some logic, Dennis.

What was I thinking that I never thought of that?

The nail is definitely the most appropriate.

    Thank you ever so.

Don't blame me for that post, Patrcian. It's one of those kind of days. Go look at my last several posts. I'm giving everyone the business.

...all in good fun of course. It's how my sense of humor is when I let loose on the reins a little bit. No harm intended. You should see what I added to the favorite rock band thread.
