How to learn about buying wholesale and selling for profit?

I'm 17 and I'm really interested in the whole idea of buying items in bulk/wholesale and selling them on for profit.

I have no idea where to start, where to buy wholesale goods from, just basically all about selling on wholesale.

Any books/websites where I can learn?

    Well, it is basically just selling except that you need to buy. THAT varies depending on method, what you buy, etc....

    Want to sell software/hardware? You will likely want to deal with a distributor.
    Want to sell OEM stuff? You will likely have to call the company and arrange for it through them or a distributor. want to sell in California? You'll need a sale/use tax permit.

    Be more precise, you MIGHT get a good answer. I don't know if anyone REALLY wrote a book about it. Doing it legitimately and legally depends on SO many variables that, with what you mentioned, GOOD LUCK covering them.

    BTW most websites, for things like 3rd party wholesale sales, are FRAUDULENT! OEM and educational discounted software, for example, is almost ONE HUNDRED PERCENT fraudulent.
