  • A Very Nice Insightful Perspective from John...Ironically, THEY didn't understand the assignment...

(also ironically, the same 5 yr old who went to live with his Auntie Mimi...)

John Lennon was unique and wise beyond his years.

I still miss him, probably always will.

Yeah, as to "imagine", it seems SO simple! You can live without a government if everyone decides to live and let live. But what if they DON'T? What if someone decides to pick people off one by one, or get one group to fight against another? Then again, that is HOW various governments started. The worlds ills in five sentences!

Too bad he didn't mention how to be happy.

How could John Lennon tell you what makes you happy?

There are a lot of unhappy rich people. Some say being rich makes it harder to be happy. If you don't know how to be happy when you're not rich, being rich doesn't change that, but it does add new layers of complexity to unhappiness.

Poetic license. I get your point, but a musician, poet, and other storytellers, of necessity perhaps, often play roles in order to portray the hope, dreams, angst, and sorrow of everyday people.

Then again, many times they have lived what they sing about sometime in their past, before they made it big.
