Best way to protect a PDF

Any suggestions? Is there a good way? I want to protect a PDF without making it ridiculous for the purchaser but something that offers some prevention from open sharing . . .

    Not much you can do that I'm aware of.
    I remember talking about that here a few years ago.
    Then the general consensus was to have all the links in the ebook point to one of your own sites. Then if someone who got the book from a 'friend' clicks a link you have the chance to make something from it.
    People are always going to share and pass things around, no sense beating yourself up trying to stop it.
