For those that don't know I have a Green Cheeked Conure (parrot) and he's just now learning how to fly.

Well I woke up today, spotted a video on Yahoo and I'm just blown away... this video almost makes you want to tear up because it's so beautiful and lively.

It really made me rethink a few things haha. I need to start traveling soon. Even though it's cold enough to snow O.o

Justin - As a traveler who has been in several European countries, a few Canadian provinces, and 35 US states -- Do travel. There is always something new to see and explore. When I was at the WY/MT border I saw a swarm similar (not as big but big enough to be frightening) - but it was mosquitoes. They decended on Munchie and I in a blanket. The campfire and eucalyptus oil I had doused us in had no effect. I had to toss the dog in the car and even just opening the door for a few seconds let hundreds of those things in the rig. It took me fifteen or twenty minutes to kill them all. Okay - not one of the most delightful travel experiences. The film just brought that back to mind.

I decided early on in life that living was more important than working, so spent my time working in one location for a year or two then moving on to explore things elsewhere. I have never regretted doing so. No changes of economics or society will ever take those memories from me.
