Idea - Keep WSO testimonals product/service unique

Hi,

I've noticed a few warriors offers various different back-linking/website creation services/content creation and the testimonials they show for each service are identical.

Typically they get a load of testimonials for one/main service and when they launch a new WSO they roll them over into the new product/service.

The problem is that the testimonials are simply not relevant and give a false representation of their product/service.

Could we bring in a new rule that outlaws copying and pasting previous testimonials into new WSO's?

I believe this would give better transparency for WSO's and avoid potential deception.

We don't need more rules - we need people making smarter buying decisions. If someone is running constant WSOs - that's how they make their money. If someone is recycling testimonials - they'll stop when people stop buying.

If you are buying constant WSOs - you are the target market, not necessarily a marketer. Too many here buy because of big money claims in the subject line or fancy testimonials. Not the best practice.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

    Kay,

Thanks for your reply, may I ask you a question?

If you purchased a car which testimonials read it was a Ferrari, but after you purchased it you realised it was just an average family car would you feel disappointed, angry even?

Of course WSO's are in a completely different market (and price margin) to cars, but the same principle of a good man's honesty should exist no matter what the price.

Frankly I'm surprised testimonial recycling hasn't already been stamped out especially with with this forum having arguably the strongest ethical standpoint amongst the majority of online marketing communities.

After-all when you take away the video aspect what's the difference between a fake Fiverr video testimonial and a non relevant recycled WSO testimonial? And if you spotted one of those after you'd purchased a WSO I'm sure you'd feel cheated.
