For the people who have made it to the point where you are working for yourself online and no longer have a job... What do you with all your spare time? Besides marketing and anything business related...

I have to LOL at that one.

I've been an entrepreneur for years (if I say how long it will show my age) ;-)

After college, I got a job in my business field to gain some experience and have been a business owner ever since.

I say now what I said then when someone asks me what does it take to be a successful business owner.

I said, well, I got out of working 8-10 hours a day for someone else with them being responsible for paying me with evenings, weekends, vacations and holidays off and traded it in for working 16 hours a day, never really having any time that I wasn't thinking about my business, I invested my entire savings and now I'm responsible for paying all these other people.

IF there is any money left over, then I get paid.

That is what it took and takes whenever I started a new venture.

Of course, I get the benefit of calling the shots and setting my own schedule (which most of the time was double what any of my employees put in).

I think that is what it takes to be successful---giving your all.

Then once, I get them up and running, I got a manager and only had to check in.

Now, that I'm doing this business online. My goal is to continue building it and scale it up as much as I can on auto-pilot.

I like this business online because it has lower start up costs, you can actually make money while you are setting up the business , no employees and minimum overhead.

Thanks for sharing, but you didn't really address my question...

      Let me rephrase the question:

What do you do with the free time that success has blessed you with?

I know what it takes to be successful, I quit my construction career and went full time online in 2007 and am more than happy with my income.

Actually he did answer your question . . . he works 16 hours a day and doesn't have free time.

As for me, nothing has really changed. I participate in the same activities I've always enjoyed. Maybe do them a little more, and travel a little more, but life is about the journey, and I'm enjoying it. I also enjoy working. You won't find me taking too many 4 hours work weeks, and that's by choice.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Wow, 6 months without having to do anything??

The beetle business must be booming

haha & to the OP, just whatever I feel like doing.. I'm thinking about buying a PS3 and MW3, but I dunno.

My girl used to tell me NOT to buy stuff because we couldnt afford it, but I did it anyway..

But now, she tells me to stop talking about buying it and just go buy it because we can afford it, and I still have not went and bought one..

Strange. lol I guess reverse psychology does exist

Being successful is not a destination. It's a journey and a goal. Unless your surname is Gates, Trump or Branson, you have to persist at working. You can choose to enjoy life as well in whatever ways you wish and they will be different for everyone.
