    WOW! I expected to say something like "YEAH RIGHT, they did that DECADES ago"! But YIKES! If REAL, this is CLOSE! It is SCARY! I consider following focus to be an intrusion on privacy, but THIS!?!?!?!?!?

    And I have this theory that the brain always compensates for various things. These images MIGHT be what the eye sees, and they don't even know it yet. It is possible, for example, for the retina to be damaged in part, and the brain can reconstruct the image from various views. almost like the greenscreen effect, where a given color is thrown out and replaced with that part of another image.

    ALSO, and SCARIER, the brain may perceive only CERTAIN information. If they are seeing THAT, this could go to areas most sci fi hasn't bothered to.
