    doctorvagabond, before you post, click the red "Go Advanced" button at the bottom of the "Quick Reply" box.

    Scroll down and under "Thread Subscription", click on the little down arrow button and select "instant email notification".

    The click "Submit Reply" when your reply is ready to post.

    That's not a stupid question. Don't feel bad about asking it or any other questions.
