BLUE error screen on my Dell Inspirion 6000 laptop!
I am hoping there is someone here that is savvy on technical matters. My Dell laptop is having a BLUE screen that I cannot bypass. This is the full message it gives me...
a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.I need this laptop for my business and cannot afford to get a new one right now...What I dont undertand is how it tells me to go back and uninstall things etc when I cannot get into the computer itself. I have tried all I know how.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart the computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Checck your hard drive configuration , and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.
Technical information:
***STOP: 0x00000024 (0x001902FE, 0xF8A2780C, 0XF8A27508, 0XF82F1185)
*** Ntfs.sys - Address F82F1185 base at F82E4000, Datestamp 45cc56a7
Is there someone out here that can help me please?:confused:
Much thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
Pierre
