Several Christmastimes ago, maybe 10?, anyway, a well known marketer had a run-in with his neighbors. He put a blow up santa, snow globe, or something similar in his front yard, and his hoa filed a complaint against him. They said that blow up decorations were illegal in the neighborhood. He saw things differently, decided to fight the complaint, and he won.
To pay back his neighbors and to rub it in the face of the hoa, he bought about 10 of the biggest blow up Christmas decorations I have ever seen. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade size things. It created quite a traffic jam - people driving down his street to see them.
Anyway, I wondered if anyone remembered this. There was a video at the time. Sure would like to see it again. Thought it was incredibly funny! But I sure was glad he didn't live in my neighborhood.
