For those who have paid the 60 bucks to put an image in your sig for a year, what are the size restrictions?

Meaning what is the maximum width & height (in pixels) ?

Sorry everyone I know its not about making money, but I couldnt find anything regarding the size limits on here when I searched..

Oh wow, I thought it would have been bigger than that. At least in width if not height..

Can you give a link to where it says that? I appreciate the response but I just want to double check.. Most forums allow 600 width..

I'll probably skip the image signature if thats really the max size.

That really is the max. And it's not or... it's and. 234 x 60 and no bigger than the 197 kb or whatever it is. If you look around, you'll probably realize that you've never seen one as wide as 600 here.

Na, I've never seen one that big here. But on most of the forums I've always visited the width has always been 600 pixels max, then 200 pixels height.

But I always see these little small images on WF..

Thats what made me wonder about the size limits in the first place, lol

I just opened Paint & put in that size (the one for WF) and it just looks too small to spend 60 bucks on it. I know its for a year but thats not even using half of the signature space.

Thanks anyway tho everybody, I appreciate it

You might want to talk to a few people to see what the return is on that $60 before making your decision. I'm not a good one to ask because I don't utilize it as well as I should but when I was switching up my banners, I was getting a lot more clicks to whatever I was offering than without it. I know others who never run WSOs but simply use their signature space banner and make quite a few sales. I know mine has paid for itself several times over and like I said, I haven't even used it properly for the past few months.

lol, I'm not worried about that.

If the image generates just 1 sale (actually no I take that back, 2 sales) then its more than doubled the investment for what I plan on doing with it. If I didnt think I could make the 60 bucks back in 1 year I probably wouldn't be in this business in the first place

LOL but after talking to my wife I think I'll probably try it as long as I can get it to look right.

I was just wondering what size I needed to make my banner if I were to do it.

I just didnt think I'd be able to fit what I wanted into such a small space and still make it look good.

But this one, I dunno.. It MIGHT actually look decent. I'm about to make a post in the test forum to make sure I have the right BG color and to see how it would look before I decide to buy tho, but definitely thank you to all who answered.

Made the initial reply with my Kindle, so I apologize for not returning with the link to the sizing. I've made a few sales through mine. Good luck with your decision!

    I just bought, thanks everyone!

At first I was like "naaaaaaaaaaa"

But then I was like "screw it, its not like I cant afford it"

lol I'm about to upload it now, I might be posting back asking for some opinions on it in a little while

Although I think I might also keep the link I already have in my sig for SEO purposes, on top of the image.

But yea I'm about to upload it now & get it set up, will post back soon.

You are aware that you can change the image as often as you want, right? If there is too much info for one offer, you can always try a different one. I suck at graphics and am too cheap to have a new image made with every offer or I'd switch mine up more often... lol.

Yeah, I know you can change it anytime.

The payment just "unlocked" the ability to upload the image.

I suck at GFX too, but I'm not going for mind-blowing work. Just to try and capture people's attention a little more than a regular sig can do.

I created the one I have uploaded right now in about 10 minutes, lol what do you guys think of it?

I'm only keeping the text below it for SEO purposes.

PS: Mods, now that I've already invested in it, can you move this thread to the Off-Topic section? Thanks!

    LOL Tina!

& thanks Frag, that was my first thought too when I added the bevel + drop shadow. I think I put a little too much highlighting on the top-left of the words..

And I thought about using it to direct people to the line below the image, but I dunno.. I guess it just seems kind of 'played out' to me.

I've seen "LOOK" banners with arrows pointing down to the text inside of the O's, I've seen different style arrow images like some of the ones a few people have in here.. I dunno, I just like to stand out from the crowd I guess.

But I'm sure I'll be testing different images & styles, after all I do have the next year to mess with it

Anyway, a big thanks (again, haha) to everyone who contributed to this thread. I really do appreciate the input, I probably wouldn't have bothered to try it out if I hadn't posted this thread.

    Merry (early) Christmas everyone!!!

I went ahead & made a new sig, thoughts?

I know I originally said I didn't want to use arrows because I wanted to "stand out", but I must admit it has a bit of style.. And as frag said you should also make sure it directs people to click the links below it.

So instead of using an arrow template I just created my own arrows. I also didnt use any bevel this time & I cut the blur of the drop shadow by like 80%.

So after all that, which do you think is better? This one or the one I had up last night?

Oh and I also had this moved to OT, didnt want to bump it back up while it was still over in main discussion.
