Hi everyone

I'm very happy to be a part of this family like forum. When I first started out IMing I thought I didn't need a support group and I could figure out everything on my own that I needed to but BOY was I wrong.

I have been doing this for only a couple of months now and have made 1 sale. I've spent SO much money on software, ebooks etc.. I don't even want to say how much. I'm totally in the hole. I pay for Aweber - what for my huge list of 11 people? I should have started with Get Response. At least you can add up to 100 people before you start paying.

I need to get focused, I need direction and I need help!! Bad!

I have a lot of questions that I won't post in this thread because I don't even know where I should be posting this. I didn't see a "welcome" thread anywhere? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm ready to create a plan and stop buying everything. I felt like this a month ago and was doing good until I signed up here and the products you can get are such good deals I couldn't pass them up but now that I've gone through the WSO buying stage I think I can do this now.

I look forward to connecting with as many warriors that I can. After reading and poking around it seems that you guys are very helpful and got each others backs and I like that. A lot!

Well that's it for now.

Welcome Newbie. Its a school of hardknocks in internet marketing. It is easy to fall prey of buying everything in a bid to make some money online. You have to be very vigilant and you need to stick to one game plan otherwise you will get the newbie syndrome of ''information overload''.

Lol @ using aweber for 11 subscribers. Dont worry it will grow.

      Hi Moneychain

Welcome to the forum. There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers (for which im probably famous for :-( )

Anyway, whichever way you are trying to make money, stick with it until you do. Dont go 70% of the way to learning affiliate marketing and then switch to CPA because it looks easier. Stick with affiliate until you make money and the lessons you learn in that last 30% push to the summit will benefit you in every other aspect of making money online.

Also, find a niche and then the products to promote, not the other way round!!!!

Dont be afraid to ask questions. People will generally help you out.

Realise and understand that there is no such thing as overnight success, or get rich quick push button software. Its hard graft and you have to go through the s****y times learning to get to the pay days.

Everyone here will tell you the money is in the list...... personally, i disagree... the money is in the traffic, so learn how to generate it, not shotgun style, targeted style.

Good luck with your experience here.

    Hello and welcome!

One of the pieces of advice I would give you is to find a mentor, or at least someone you can follow consistently. It will be difficult initially (as it is for me), since your post count will limit PM access to some Warriors. However, I would try to establish a relationship with some of the Warriors who sold you the products you bought and whose lists you may be on. I'm certain that some of them would be happy to hear of how much you appreciate the product you got from them and how much you would like to learn more. Leaving some feedback on the products can be an endearing act as well.

Coming from an intense IT background, I initially overestimated the amount of IM information I could absorb in a short period of time; after all, what could be more difficult than learning and implementing complex network routing architectures, right? (Fill in the blanks for your own pre-IM occupation.) So, congratulations on your decision to focus and get a plan in order that addresses one subject at a time!

    Thank you.

What you need is a plan. A WSO won't do this for you until you have decided how you want to make money. Don't go for systems that promise huge bucks with little or no work.

Think in terms of building an online business. Then decide, after reading the forum a lot, which type of business you might be interested in. Once you get to the point where you have a good idea as to what you would like to do, then find or buy information that will help you get there.

If you haven't already, join the War Room. It's only a $37 one time investment and all the info in there is free. It's a great resource and will save you money in the long run.

Its been said a million and one times that there is no magic button to making money online. It's almost like paying your dues. You are doing what many of us have done, bought the latest greatest products, never got to use them cause the next bestest one is now out and it continues.

I've been learning this gig for about 8 years now, got close to taking action and look over there a newer and easier way to make money, run forest go get it. I always did.

Even now, as I know better I've spent thousands in this forum alone this year, it's like marketing crack in here. I cannot even possibly tell you how many seo courses, backlink plugins, backlink systems, seo plugins that i know many have never been touched.

My point is that you are far from the first and certainly wont be the last that has spent lots of money and not seen a lot of results.

My advice, stop spending, or set a strict limit. Get away from your autoresponder account and go to the free option, you gave yourself your own answer there, ask you subs to move over, if they don't you lost 11 subs. Now you are saving $20 a month.

For $5.08 a month, there is a course being offered in the WSO section by 2 very reputable marketers, I can tell you that I am enrolled in the course and I have watched in the background one of these marketers accomplish what I wanted to do. So I am attending to find out what I did wrong. I'm just partly in the first month.

I don't know if I can put a link to the WSO or not so I will just suggest to look for

"Liz Tomey and Jeff Dedrick Coaching" in the WSO area. I will endorse the course 100%.

    Thanks for reading

I know it's a little late but thanks for the reply! It seemed when I was reading your email or thread/whatever to myself that I would just click with you like if we were to meet in person ya know. Not saying that we can't click here. It's funny because I am actually in that $5.08/month course too! lol Go figure right? Liz is excellent but by accident, I was in my Paypal account and deleted her recurring payments so i'm actually not a member anymore. i was going to straighten it out but then i was like am i REALLY doing this .... NO .. so there you have it. Left that one alone but I have bought $100's of dollars worth of PLR content from her so .... anyway with that being said yeah, i'm trying not to join any more monthly programs. I mean they'd have to be screaming at me to get them literally and believe me they do. lol

      Gotta run .. lets k.i.t

That was silly. I thought I was doing a quick reply to my very last post as I was going to work my way up backwards and do a reply to everyone individually but I can see that that post went to everyone so lol. oh well. i want to thank you all for your input, ideas, tips etc... they were all helpful. I know this email is a little late getting back to everyone. I'm just new and still swimming around a little too much but hoping to spend more time here and make this my foundation of free knowledge and STOP spending!

      Thanks guys!!
