Tony Iommi diagnosed with cancer
Black Sabbath's riffmeister, Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with early stages of lymphoma.
He remains upbeat about dealing with the disease and is looking forward to the planned reunion of the orignal Sabs later this year.

Although Iommi may not be as technically proficient as other guitarists such as Page, Blackmore, etc., it's not an understatement to say that he has inspired a whole armada of young (mostly) guys to pick up a guitar and turn the volume all the way up.
Let's hope he pulls through.
