Hey friends,

I need a help from you guys. I have just bought a notebook and want to configure CISO VPN on my windows OS but unable to find any VPN Service Provider who is offering it. It will be appreciated if someone can reply it promptly.

Many thanks in advance.

WOW, they ALL should! I am using QuickVPN. Only NEWER versions work with vista or anything newer! To the best of my knowledge, they do NOT provide a server! You want to use it? You have to get a special router! SO... If you want THEIR system to be your server, ideally:

    1. It should use a non routable address. MOST ISPs probably know little about such things and use routable!
    2. It should have that router on a routable address. MOST ISPs probably won't have that router.
    3. That router should be dedicated to YOUR box.

ALSO, some ISPs, to go from you to the host company, have been playing tricks! SOMETIMES you have to use PPTP to connect. PPTP, at least on the router I have been using, is settup differently, has a smaller limit, and is NOT compatible with quickVPN. So to support PPTP you need to maintain another user. OH, and SOMETIMES it won't work!

BTW I am using windows 7, and the version is 1.4.1.2, which apparently came out 2010. I suggest that you NEVER use an earlier version, if possible.

    Steve
