Default OMG! Just had a major religous experience! WOW - I'm shaken up!

Hi all,

Really needed to get this off my chest, I can't stop shaking at the moment.

I've just been cooking up some ham for my dinner, and in the ham a face appeared, I've heard of things like this before, but would never thought it might happen to me!

I took a picture of it to get your thoughts, but this has been a life changing incident.

Yeah, could be Homer, not sure, but certainly unexpected.

I hope this doesnt get deleted, but the underlying tone is

"Come on people, dont take life so seriously! Have a laugh every now and then"

Hi Darren,

First of all can I just say, I do have a sense of humour, I laugh and cry and feel pain like the next warrior, but to say I find your post offensive would be an understatement of the highest order!

As a deeply religious man myself I opened this thread with the wonder of a small child at christmas, expecting perhaps a burning bush-esque revelation to cement my beliefs!

But no.. what do I find.. a crudely mocked up picture of my good self, sizzling in some kind of cooking utensil!

Not only has this caused great upset to myself and my family it has sullied the good name of the people of Hamsville.

We were only trying to fit in to your normal way of life.

I was enjoying my trip to france, please find a holiday snap I had taken yesterday, I will think twice before I pose for any more pictures in the future!.

Hi Martin,

Spam - I was gonna say the same

It looks like a cartoon monkey - I can't think where I've seen it now - was it based on that same monkey?

You should definitely preserve the 'vision' and sell it on ebay.

Sorry! this was only meant to be a joke, I REALLY did not think there would be anyone that looked like that, whoa! really sorry man if I spoilt your holiday or p####d you off, it was not intentional

I was cooking 'ham' steaks and I thought I'd play a little and post it on the WF, actually having 'another' member of the same forum wih the exact same face, how bizarre.

Hope you can forgive me

You should all be ashamed of yourselves and the mockery you make of the Heavenly Ham. Get to your knees and repent. Six 'Hail Bacon's and two 'Ah, Bisto!'s should do it. As well as sending a five figure donation via PayPal to The Shrine Of The Spiritual Spam.

Praise be!

Sam - really just because you are the owner of one of the best scripts around and current reigning champion of the best support of the year, DOES NOT give you the right to find this amusing!

Granted, originally my intentions were to humour you all, but due to the fact we have another warrior with the same damn face, just makes a mockery of any glimour of humour we can pull from this.

Again sniffy, really sorry please don't let these heathens sully your holiday

Wise words indeed Glenn and I would follow them had tragedy not already befallen my cherished family, my daughter porketta was heartbroken by the ridicule her ham faced father had to endure at the hands of you bloodthirsty warriors.. and so in a desperate attempt to console her I gave her a huge fatherly cuddle and tried to reassure her she wasnt to think of herself merely as a tender piece of breakfast fodder. ALAS! unknown to me she was greased up from head to toe in succulent farmers boy best brand butter, and as I squeezed her close there was a slip and a pop and off she went, arching as gracefully as a freshly smothered kipper - straight into the casserole dish!

We could only look on in horror and guilty satisfaction as her sweet little face gave way to a sea of mushy pea doom! In my panic I could only manage 1 last picture of her demise.

No amount of kind words can bring her back now...
UPDATE: by heck, she made a grand pea n ham soup. RIP - Porketta.
