My kids hamster is pretty good at marketing

OFF TOPIC

Just had to share this... bought 2 hamsters for my son last night, then today I go to buy the local paper, a picture of one of our hamsters is on the front page.

Turns out the pet shop I bought them from is shutting down in pretty bad circumstances though council greed, and has become headline news.

Last night the pet shop owner said something about the hamster getting her picture taken but I wasn't really focused on the conversation.

Who'da thunk it, my kids hamster can get more exposure than I do. Just hope all the fame doesn't go to the hamsters head.

There you go, a successful business model we can all copy.

Put yourself up for sale in a shop that's going out of business, and hey presto, mass publicity.

  Maybe you shouldn't let the hamster know his picture was in the paper...and don't let him talk on the phone to anyone that calls and asks for him.
