I am going to start hiring 1099 workers and I found with the one I had last year, I just kept track with Excel and now that I will be having more, I need to find a good software that I can use for accounting. I also will need to keep track of my expenses and sales, so I really have to buckle down this year.

Are you using a great software and if so, what do you like about it?

Thanks in advance!

I personally used Quickbooks when I had a brick and mortar.

It is VERY thorough, but quite a learning curve (for me anyway, your results may vary).....to this day I don't know half of it, I'm glad I had a secretary, lol.

Anyway they are good, but proprietary and pricey in some ways, depends what your budget is I suppose.

When I was the bookkeeper for my friends carpet install bus. I used Quickbooks.
There is a learning curve, but it is an excellent bit of accounting software.

I WAS going to suggest Quickbooks ALSO! And it IS easier/cheaper than the average accounting system, which is why almost ALL competition disappeared in the retail market. Heck, I was thinking about putting one on the market, but decided against it when intuit hit.
