Interesting study. Most likely explains why home-schooled children appear to do better in education.

Your thoughts?

P.S. It also explains politicians

    Mooooooo. Yeah, whatever.

Years ago some dipstick made a documentary that supported the idea that women are most likely to get lost than men - seems we don't have the sense of direction men do. Unfortunately - he didn't understand point one about the difference between a socialized condition and a biological one. Women couldn't find their way around if they were typical and didn't go anywhere much by themselves. Those who did, fair better than men.

Oh and by the way - if we do get disoriented we are lost for much shorter times because we will stop and ask directions. - just kidding.

At least these researchers understood that the reasons most women take a real dive into bimboship in a crowd is also a repercussion of socialization rather than inferior neuron synapses. I wonder if they also realized that if they upset the age balance of the group that the guys would be a little more prone to "lose it" than the women. Maybe next experiment I guess.

Men get THEIR fair share of garbage ALSO! Don't forget about people like rosanne barr that made their living on it. Sit comes, like the honeymooners, flintstones, etc... made men out to look like IDIOTS. Oh well, now WOMEN are getting paid back for THAT!

NOPE! Kids don't generally learn what they aren't exposed to. With normal school today you have senseless roadtrips, snow days, senseless tasks, bad teachers, bad materials, etc.... The quality is going down and down and down. ALSO, they don't care if you are literate or can add two and two! So ANY decent parent home schooling their child with decent materials and/or knowledge for over say 4 hours is likely to have a child that does better.

BESIDES, they can enforce all that is taught, and SKIP stuff the child knows already! I once did all the work in a book, and told the teacher I knew the whole subject, and she told me to just follow along and go at the classes pace. WOW! If you know the stuff, they often won't allow you to go ahead and, if you have a problem, they may not explain it.

Politicians are EASY to explain! THEY are probably the ones that cheated on tests, played hookey, etc.... They JUST DON'T CARE!
