Who is your Super Bowl pick and why?

I'm going with New York because they keep surprising everyone. Remember, this is a team that barely got into the playoffs.

They beat New England when they were beat up and a shell of what they are
    now.

So what do you think they're going to do to them in the Super Bowl now that
they're healthy and playing like a possessed banshee?

    New York over New England

If you're playing like a possessed banshee then I'd hate to be the other team, lol.

Actually, that's incorrect. The Giants won their division. They were NFC East champions. They earned the right to be in the playoffs, they didn't back in.

David, it depends on how you look at it, on one hand, yes, they are the NFC East Champions, but on the other hand it was a do-or-die final game between the Cowboys and Giants that got them into the playoffs. So that's what I meant by "barely".

Well, since you explained your position, I'll explain mine. They crushed the Cowboys 31-14 to take the division. That convincing win gave them an "automatic" berth into the playoffs.

David, let me preface this by saying that I'm a big Giants fan going back to the
days of Frank Tarkenton, Ron Johnson and Spider Lockhart.

The Giants were 6-2 and should have coasted into the playoffs. Instead, they
almost blew the whole thing. Granted, they were banged up and missing some
key pieces. But this was NOT a good team mid season.

In that respect, they barely made it in.

Right now, they're playing the best football they've played all season, even
better than when they were 6-2 and I honestly don't think anybody can
          beat them at this stage.

But make no mistake about it...this post season was very close to being a
non reality with their head coach possibly being gone next season.

I think that the Giants will win. It will be a very close game but I honestly think that the Giants defense will be able to stop Tom Brady. Then the Giants wide receivers are just amazing.

I think that the New England Patriots are out for revenge. They lost to the Giants after a near perfect season. The Pats are a good team with veteran quarterback. Manning is good too. But I think it's going to come down to who wants it bad enough.

I grew up in Massachusetts but now live in New York. Am I a traitor?

Got to go with my roots. Patriots all the way baby!

Revenge? The Patriots wanted to destroy the Giants when they played them in Gillette Stadium back in November. Instead, the Giants went into their house and beat them again. The Giants beat them without two of our best players on offense...Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw.

If the Patriots couldn't beat the Giants then, they definitely can't beat them now - not the way the Giants are playing on both sides of the ball. Sometimes, it's not who you play, but when you play them. And right now, I don't think anyone can beat the Giants.

Not to mention the fact, Eli is actually playing better than Brady in the playoffs - and we still have the best front four in the NFL.
