I'm starting a new group benefits agency specializing in helping SMALL businesses (1-500 man organizations). I need a name that will roll off the tongue but denotes being a group insurance resource for small businesses.

Think "Unisys"; it speaks of "one system working in tandem to provide quality". That's kind of what I'm looking for.

You guys are creative...please help me out. Thanks in advance!

I can tell you that if someone said "Unisys" to me, I would not be thinking of "one system working in tandem to provide quality". That's a company B.S. line. I dare you to ask one million people what "Unisys" means to them, not one will give you that B.S. line.

Nobody is going to care what the name of your company is except you and your creditors (so they can get a hold of you).

You have to correctly identify the battleground, and win that battle. Your competitors will not have done this so it will be easy for you.

If your battle ground is in the yellow pages, or some kind of offline directory that is in alphabetical order, then you want to be on top of that list.

Can you guess what the above two companies do? The top one is obvious. The bottom one, who knows? Don't make your prospects guess either. Because I can tell you, they will not even try and guess.

Don't let the yellow pages people write your ad. They will fudge it all up.
