Hello, I am making a list of today`s hot (popular in google search) products for weight loss. Please help me out and add the ones I have missed. THANKS a lot. I am based in Canada so it`s pretty hard to know what is hot today in the US diet niche...

- african mango
- **** berry
- hcg
- ducan diet
- 17 day diet
- paleo diet

DK! I think those are all pretty old. Paleo has been replaced, hcg and **** have often been mangled to be total scams, etc.... In the US, use of HCG for this is illegal, so the most above board items are simply ones that provide the raw ingredients in hopes of helping it along. Others are often the homeopathic nonsense.

BTW HCG is illegal because it is considered to be, and treated as a drug. It is also carefully monitored, so doctors aren't supposed to use it for things like losing weight. The officially sanctioned diet for losing a lot of weight in extremely obese people is effectively cutting back severely on calories. It DOES have a name, but I don't want to flood google. But it is ****THE**** diet, so claims that HCG must be used for an emergency in weightloss don't cut it.

As someone that is overweight, I obviously looked through a lot of this stuff, right down to reading the labels on the stuff that CLAIMS to be HCG. The CLOSEST to actually having HCG was the homepathic stuff. If the label were correct, maybe if you got a months supply from every seller on the planet you might have enough for one REAL dose. It is so ridiculously diluted. So the most effective is probably the stuff that uses amino acids, etc... Unless you have a deficiency, they are unlikely to make much difference.

According to some reports I've seen, weight loss is now a $50 billion a year industry in the US. About 70% is self-help products, such as food products and supplements, books, DVDs, CDs, etc. These are generally short-lived, and most end up turning to professionals to meet their weight loss needs including fitness centers, personal coaches, weight loss groups, therapeutic specialists, and even medical procedures. Monetization within this huge market is perhaps most easily accomplished through the tons of weightloss books on Amazon.

I hear diet (not eating more calories than one burns) and exercise work pretty well together.

It comes down to eating low glycemic foods, curbing your appetite so you naturally feel full on fewer calories and moderate exercise like walking an hour a day along with lifting heavy weight twice a week because muscle burns calories.

My best diet product is a Schwinn 10-speed bicycle.

Water instead of pop is right up there too.
