Telsa wireless powered products released in 2009
There is a lot of mystique behind Tesla's concept of wireless power but it appears a similar concept will finally be mass produced and used to power household electronics... and it already has.
For those of you who do not know who tesla was he discovered the alternating current or AC.
He also invented the Wardenclyffe transmitter which could be used to transmit power without using power lines.
I just read a cool article about new inventions in household electronics being adopted and even being introduced at electronics shows today which are powered by a similar concept:

I for one being a gadget addict could use a few less cords around the house :-)
